Sunair has been manufacturing sun and rain protection devices since 1880, and serving the American market since 1978. Awnings are available in three mechanism options:

1. The economical Sunstar has a single cable and worm gear
2. The SunAir uses a double cable and bevel gear with a covered housing
3. Top quality Suntube uses a double cable, bevel gear and completely enclosed housing

All three can be operated manually or fitted for motorized operation.

Mounting options from Sunair are versatile, working well with typical wall mounts, but adaptable to ceiling or roof mounts. Frames for free-standing applications are also available. Framing is powder-coated aluminum with seven standard colors and over 200 special-order hues. Hundreds of fabrics are offered, from such makers as Sunbrella, Tempotest by Para, or Dickson by Glen Raven Mills.

Motorization of the awning not only makes operation easy, but automatic sun and wind controls can be installed to protect your investment from damage.

Maxi and Combi awning designs from Sunair provide both protection and privacy. The awnings can be lowered while extended, blocking outside view. They are also completely retractable into an optional hood, making seasonal removal unnecessary.

Rolling vertical solar screens from Sunair offers another sun protection option. Solar screens can:

1. Control light while still offering a view to the outside Dsf
2. Eliminate glare
3. Protect interior fabrics and furniture from UV damage
4. Reduce indoor temperatures
5. Lower cooling costs by 20-40%
